(From left) Tom Petty, Jeff Lynne, Jim Keltner, Paul McCartney and Joe
Walsh join former Beatle George Harrison's widow Olivia and his son
Dhani during a dedication for Harrison.
Fellow former Beatle McCartney stood next to Olivia and Dhani, as the star was unveiled in front of the landmark Capitol Records building. "Thank you very much!" he yelled to hundreds of screaming fans wearing Beatles T-shirts and holding signs, albums and flowers to honor Harrison. The only other surviving member of the band, Ringo Starr, did not attend. Harrison already shared a Walk of Fame star with all of the Beatles, but only he and John Lennon have their own stars.

I highly recommend "Concert for George" in which many of the cited "stars" shined by playing George's songs in a tribute concert. (Many other great hands were also on deck.)
Vince,
Thanks for calling attention to that fine film. For those who may not be aware of the Concert for George, it was filmed on November 29, 2002, the first anniversary of George's passing, before a sold-out audience at London's Royal Albert Hall, and includes some of the most significant music of the 20th century. George Harrison's songs performed by some of rock's most influential artists -- Eric Clapton, Jeff Lynne, Paul McCartney, Tom Petty, Billy Preston, Ravi Shankar and Ringo Starr. The DVD is also available as a 2-disk set online and from Netflix, of course.
